On gentle northern hill slope along roadside in foil sun. In well-drained soil of
Kalahari sand. Exotic and common. Grassland with Tecoma capensis and
Senecio tamoides.
Perennial shrub 4m high. Leaves pinnately compound, hairy, alternate, strongly
glandular and aromatic, with entire leaf margins. Raceme with large yellow
corolla and red stamen flowers. Fruit a pod.
