    Shrub or scrambler, single stem 0.8 to 1.6 long and 10-25 mm in diameter. Leaves in terminal tufts of 15, opposite to sub-opposite, compound with 20-40 pairs of pinnae, imparipinnate; pinnae elongated, 30 x 10 mm to 15-40 mm, dark green; margins entire. Roots straight, pennetrate up to 30 cm deep, very few lateral roots. Occasional, native.
