On gentle southern mountain slope along roadside in lull sun. In well-drained
soil of sandstone loam. Native and common. Grassland.
Perennial scrambler to dwarf shrub, 60 cm high, stems and leaves with prickles.
Pinnately compound leaves alternate, discolorous: dark green above, whitish
below. White flowers in a raceme.
