Henan Province, Neixiang Xian: Baotianman Mature Reserve,
Pingfang. 33°24’30"N; lllo53’30"E. Elevation 1250-1350 m.
Forest primarily of Quercus aliena var. acutiserrata on slopes
and in hollows, with Lindera obtusiloba; frequently with dense
ground cover of Carex (no. 26376) or Convallaria keiskei.
Mixture of other deciduous trees, especially Acer, near streams.
Trailing to slightly arching; flowers white.
