Growing with Schizachyrium scoparium, Baptisia bracteata, Coreopsis grandiflora, Tephrosia virginiana, Coelorachis cylindrica, Fimbristylis puberula, Toxicodendron pubescens, Physostegia angustifolia, Rosa carolina, Gaillardia aestivalis, etc.
