Growing with Halesia tetraptera, Phegopteris hexagonoptera, Cystopteris protrusa, Podophyllum peltatum, Tovara virginiana, Polygonatum biflorum, Hymenocallis occidentalis, Asimina triloba, Carex abscondita, Prenanthes crepidinea, Arundinaria gigantea, etc.
