Brushy Creek Recreation Area, N of AR Hwy 246 and E of Cossatot River and along River Corridor Trail, S of AR Hwy 246 and W of river, about 9.4 road mi. E of jct. with US Hwy 71 near Vandervoort. Eagle Mountain 7.5' quadrangle.

Habitat
Dry-mesic, rocky, pine-hardwood-cedar woodlands on moderately-steep to steep E-facing slopes. Growing with Juniperus virginiana, Quercus muehlenbergii, Ostrya virginiana, Amelanchier arborea, Vaccinium arboreum, Ulmus alata, Acer saccharum, Euphorbia sp. nov., Streptanthus squamiformis, Asplenium platyneuron, Triodanis sp., etc.

Localized, several dozen plants observed. Plants cespitose. Fresh foliage bluish-green.
