Rd. 169, at a point about 0.3 mi. NW of jct. w/ Polk Co. Rd. 168 at a point about 0.2 mi. W of jct. w/ US Hwy 71, S of Potter Junction. Potter 7.5' quadrangle.

  • Habitat

    Dry-mesic, upland pine-hardwood forest. Growing with Quercus stellata, Juniperus virginiana, Pinus echinata, Quercus velutina, Nyssa sylvatica, Carya glabra, Antennaria sp. & Solidago delicatula.

  • Description

    Single, mature, multi-trunked shrub/small tree about 6 m tall, w/ 4 trunks, each about 10 cm in DBH. Typical leucoderme, but surrounded by 25+ saplings and younger, mature shrubs that appear to be hybrids w/ A. saccharum var. floridanum.
