Trees 15 m tall, dbh 13 cm; stem slender & straight; young fruits
with some brownish black remains of stamens and petals, green to
dark brown; cut branches emit salicylic acid smell; slash dull light
brown.
Locality; Vietnam, Ninh Binh Province, Nho Quan District, Cue
Phuong National Park.
Habitat: Trail Bong to Big Dracontomelon tree. 340-350 m
altitude. Primary valley forest with exposed limestone rock.
