Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest
Disturbed by agriculture and felling.
Forest dominated by Lithocarpus and Cyclobalanopsis.
Tree ca. 10 m tall. Young fruit whitish green turning dark red
when ripe. Occasional. Growing at forest margin by stream.
In loam on limestone.
