Henan Province, Neixiang Xian: Baotianman Nature Reserve,
Xueyao Gou. 33°22’N; 111°53’E. Elevation 650-950 m.
West-facing valley of small stream, tributary of the Tuan River.
Mixed deciduous forest with Pteroceltis, Diospyros, Acer (ca. 5
spp.), Lindera, Juglans, Pterocarya and Quercus (mostly
variabilis). Pteroceltis grove over boulders at 650 m; mixed
forest over boulders at 850-950 m. Shrub ca. 1.5 m
tallgrowing in Pteroceltis grove.
