Habitat: Montane forest.
Annot. Small tree; buttresses absent;
height 30 feet; d.b.h. 4 inches. Bark
grey to grey-brown, moderately fissured;
fissures closely spaced; lenticels absent.
Blaze cream. Wood orange. Odour and
exudate absent. Leaves dark green on
upper surface; green on lower surface.
Pubescence white. Fruit green. Local name
Napungelegele.
