Description
Tree 25 foot high with a foot thick stem; main branches from the middle, widely spreading, twigs rather numerous and forming dense bushes; wood odorless and tasteless, moderately hard and brittle, dull white, with a reddish tinge toward the center; bark brittle, gray, smoothish, reddish brown beneath the epidermis; leaves descending, folding upon the upper much darker green surface, coriaceous; inflorescence erect, all the stalks pale green; calyx greenish yellow; corolla greenish white; filaments and pistil pale white, anthers pale yellow.
