Elfin forest, c. 25 m high, overloaden
with epiphytes on truncs and branches.
Top area, terrain sloping, deep clayey
volcanic soil.
Shrublet 1.5 m high. Flowers white, fra-
grant. Fruits mature, deep violetish
blue.
