power substation. 20 km east of Alexander Bay: 28° 32.82* S: 16° 35.955* E
Oi gentle NE slope of rocky ridge, in well-drained sandy- soil pockets among
rocks of old blue calcrete and at foot of rocky ridge, in foil sun. Native and
abundant Desert to Succulent Karoo with Euphorbia hamata. Dregeochloa.
Astridia longifolia. Conophytum and Pelargonium crassicaule.
Perennial dwarf shrub up to 80 cm high. Leaves opposite, simple, succulent
glabrous, green. Flowers in a raceme, whitish. Remains of firuit basket-like.
