South Africa. Northern Cape. Richtersveld, Along turn-off to Lekkersing, 25 km
east of Port Nolloth: 29° 15.921' S: 17° 5.261' E
Roadside next to dry riverbed. Well-drained soil of shaley sand. Full sun.
Native and rare. Nama Karoo with Euphorbia spp, Zygophyllum spp. and
Mesembryanthemaceae.
Perennial succulent, 20-30 cm high. Leaves opposite, simple, succulent, maroon-
purple, 20x3 mm.
