dominated by Acacia hockii. Burned in September 1992. Information by Peter
Metele and Lekura Metele, Irmakaa-age group, Nasiporiong'.
(35° 12' E 3° 12’ S). Alt. 1800 m.	Apr	13,	1993
Tree 2 m high. Maasai name: engammai (small) alammai (big). Use: roots are
boid to a red decoction, which is mixed with milk to make the milk go further.
The red fruits are eaten by particularly herd boys, as a substitute for lunch.
