Bobiri Forest Reserve. 6”38’N, 1°17’W. Moist semi-deciduous forest with many lianas. Humus of topsoil up to 20cm deep. Avg.of 1500mm/y rain. Medium-sized tree with slightly ridged twigs, 25m tall. Round, straight bole. Hard, brittle, gray or brown, smooth bark, with round patches. Slash orange or brown. Flowers tiny, whitish. Leaves simple, pustulate, elliptic, acuminate, glandular, glabrous.
