Mixed Dipterocarp forest, associates include; Shorea,
Sapotaceae, Lauraceae, Myristicaceae. Red clay soil.
Morphology:
Small tree 2.5 m, 3 cm dbh. Bark reddish. Leaves deeply
ribbed, light greenish-yellow beneath. Young flower light
green turning yellow, maturing pink. Light aromatic scent.
Newly disturbed primary forest, open area.
