Bobiri Forest Reserve. 6038’N, ri7’W. Moist semi-deciduous forest with many lianas. Humus of topsoil up to 20cm deep. Avg.of 1500mm/y rain. Tall tree with narrow crown and slender, clean, straight, round bole, 37m tall. Narrow buttresses. Bark hard and brittle, smooth to rough. Slash yellow to orange, with brown, bands, turning reddish-brown. Leaves simple, elliptic, acuminate, margin entire to serrate; simple hairs. S.
