Ficus vallis-choudae Delile
Tree 5^-6 m x ca. 15 cm, branched from near the base
of the trunk, midrib and lateral veins yellow; most figs
in the leaf axils, cl few on leafless branchlets on old
branches, mature figs ca. 8 cm in ^ , yellow to reddish
with red to brown longitudinal stripes; immature f-»^s v
. „ filled with a watery slightly sticky sap.
Hab.. ipogo: between Torddjigbé and Agou—Gare, ca. 12 km
of Palimd, 0° 45 * 1» 6° 51' N; in- open (seasonally
flooded ?) vegetation.
