NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN Gesneriaceae Columnea Colombia. Dept: Risaralda. Municipio: Pueblo Rico. Vereda: Montebello. Parque Nacional Tatama. Montezuma Rainforest Reserve and Ecolodge. Western slopes of the Cordillera Occidental. Cuenca Rio Taiba. Camino Montezuma (road towards military base). Elevation: 1500-2335 m. 5°15'18"N 76°6'39"W. Bosque Andino - Alto Andino. Terrestrial herb with dorsiventral shoots. Abaxial leaf surface green with red trichomes along veins. Bracts orange. Calyx and corolla uniformly bright yellow. Corolla tubular with radial limb.
