often narrowly deltoid, (18) Z5-43 mm long, blades (13yi8-26 x V-T6
most are positioned horizontally. Flowers 11-13 mm wide; sepals narrowly
lanceolate, mottled green with narrow hyaline margins, (5.5) 6-7 mm long,
with large (rearward) appendage over 2 mm long; corollas white-centered
with purple veins, pale spurs prominent (4-4.5 mm), petals (7) 9-9.5 mm
long, violet-blue, but in many the distal margins are nearly white giving
the fresh flowers a two-tone appearance (but drying darker in color).
