Machilus chinensis (Champ ex Benth) Hensl.

Trees 10m high, crown 8m spread, trunk 35cm in diam, growing on
slope, close to a motor road; fls greenish yellow, 1 cm across,
perianth of mature fls bud 7-8mm long; strucking appearance in
contrast with green foliage.
