Née, 1997 Depto. Izabal, W of Santo Tomás de Castilla, near Guatel antennas on one of the summits of Cerro San Gil, humid evergreen forest on slopes. 15°40.13’N, 88°41.59’W. alt. 800-900 m. Shrub 2.5 m. tall, with ascending branches. Flowers odorless (2:15 P.M. mostly overcast); corolla white; anthers yellow. Fruit held erect, green, then orange. Common all along the road from 300 to 900 m. (see no. 47314), but above 600 m. the corolla is mostly pure white and the flowers seem smaller, otherwise identical. Coll.: M. Nee , D. Atha & J. C.
