Shrub 5 m. tall, with single stem 6 cm. in diameter, and spreading branches at the top. Pedicel swollen at apex, abruptly constricted then the calyx flaring; flowers and fruits on erect pedicels; flowers odorless; corolla white within, yellow-green on the outside; anthers yellow; fruit depressed-globose, bright orange.
