SE of Agustin Melgar, Mun. Hidalgotitlan. 17°15'N, 94° 33' W alt. 100 m. SELVA ALTA PERENNIFOLIA. Pastures and 7 year-old "acahual" (second growth), on flat and with some bedrock outcrops but not limestone karst hills. Treelet 4 m. tall, 5 cm. in diameter. Fruit dull greenish, held erect, some seen turning orange but perhaps most disappearing before any color change. The leaves said to be eaten by pigs. Coll.: M.
