Hill Dipterocarp forest, associates include: Shorea,
Dipterocarpus, Sapotaceae, Knema, Castanopsis.
Morphology:
Tree 9 m tall, 10 cm dbh. Outer bark brown, rugose. Inner
bark pale orangish. Leaves coriaceous, deeply ribbed
beneath, pale light green. Fruit dull yellowish-brown to green.
