camp off main (new) logging road, cutting block and
surrounding environs.

Mixed Dipterocarp forest, associates: Shorea, Vatica,
Horsfieldia. Newly disturbed forest. Red clay soil.
Morphology:
Tree 14 m tall, 30 cm dbh. Outer bark grey, rough. Inner
bark light brown. Twigs dark green. Leaves leathery, dark
green, shiny above, dull light green beneath. Calyx greyish-
green, pilose. Corolla yellowish-white w/yellow spots at
middle. Stamens yellow.
