Field Char: Treelet 8 m tall, dbh 20 cm, bark
brown, slash light reddish pink, immediately
turning blood-red, sap of same color, flowers
in ramiflorous clusters, rusty-brown, greenish
pink inside.
Locality: Palawan: Municipality Taytay,
Ibangley, vicinity of Public Works resthouse.
Habitat: Partly cleared primary forest.
