Climber, several m long. Stem green, petioles as well. Leaves
green above, pale green beneath.
Inflorescence with pale green rachis. Male flowers pale green.
Vernacular name: oshi.
Uses; Tuber crop.
Cultivated at the experimental field of Nkolbisson, Yaoundé,
Central Province, Cameroon (3°52' N, 11 °2T E). Yam
collection of Mbouemboue and Mouzong.
Associated materials: Spirit collection [flowers].
