  • Description

    Tree like shrub...; stem 2 inches thick, 10 feet high, branched above the middle or from below it, quite crooked yet terete; wood moderately soft, odorless and tasteless, the outer one half white but the heartwood yellowish; branches slender, divaricate laxly rebranched; leaves subcoriaceous, flat, apices recurved, paler green but more shining beneath, horizontal, fruits solitary or few clustered, upon pale green either ascending or descending stalks, ellipsoid, shining, greenish but with maturity stramineus.
