include: Shorea, Quercus, Helicia. Ridge and surrounding
slopes, red clay soil. Occasional.
Morphology:
Small tree 8 m tall, 8 cm dbh. Outer bark brown, inner bark
orangish-yellow. Leaves olive green beneath, shiny, mid-rib
with rust indumentum. Upper surface dark green. Calyx light
green, tepals pale greenish-yellow. Fruit green turning
orange, maturing red.
