  • Habitat

    1000 hectares of transition forest is relatively short with a few large emergents; level, relatively undisturbed (some charcoal in soil), understory open, some areas of tree fall with many vines; the only mature forest in the entire region, the rest has been clearcut; Pariana dominates the understory: Rutaceae and Rubiaceae; subcanopy: Cenostigma, Duguetia, Annona, Cassia, Dipteryx, Guabiraba (Myrtaceae); canopy. on wood.

short with a few large emergents. Level, relatively undisturbed
(some charcoal in soil), understory open, some areas of tree fall
with many vines. The only mature forest in the entire region;
the rest has been clearcut. Pariana dominates understory;
Rutaceae and Rubiaceae, subcanopy; Cenostigma, Duguetia,
Annona, Cassia, Dipteryx, Guabiraba (Myrtaceae). canopy.
