    Tree 10 m tall, 25 cm dbh. Bark tan, lenticellate, flaking. Inner bark bright pink with red sap. Flowers: fragrant, calyx pale green, corolla pale yellow, stamens fused into a white cup, anthers cream, ovary bright orange, stigma pale yellow.
