Jelundung, Batu Lintang. 1 km S of camp along hunting
trail.

Mixed Dipterocarp forest, clay soil; associates include:
Shorea, Knema, Lithocarpus, Artocarpus.
Open exposed area.
Morphology:
Tree 11 m tall, 8 cm dbh. Small buttresses, narrow. Outer
bark reddish-brown, flaking; inner bark pale yellow. Wood
pink, soft. Leaves coriaceous, glaucous beneath. Fruit rust
orange.
