prostrate stems, also isolated plants
growing on drier ground? 1050 m.
Annual; stems radiate + prostrate or
arching; leaves apparently now dead;
culms in various stages of growth and
varying in length, bright green, terete,
glossy; bract	section,	glossy;
glumes dark or light brown with a
green or brown keel very variable in
colour even on the same inflorescence.
