ascending slender branches from near
base. Bole fluted at base. Bark with
mapy small scales, dark brown, pale
straw lenticels. Inner bark pale brown,
no white sap. Sapwood pale brown.
Twigs pale brown, rough, with conspicu-
ous ^bright brown lenticeis. Lvs in
terminal spirals to 3f, with some apical
growth, Iflets opp., terminal Iflet pre-
sent; dull mid-green above, paler below.
Rhachis pale green. Young lvs open
green. Ramiflorous, fls in dense clust-
ers on branches & twigs. Axes pale
green. K. pale cream* C. & s&$. tube
pale cream, anths brown, disc pale
yellow. Slight scent.
