3km from Pandeiros (15°30'S 44'45'W) on
the road to Januaria.
In dense cerrado to cerradao with a rather
sparse ground layer.
Much-branched shrub, 3m tall. Very
floriferous and attracting great numbers
of insects (butterflies, bees, Cerambycid
beetles, etc). Flowers greenish cream.
