Mixed Dipterocarp forest, associates include: Shorea,
Dryobalanops, Myrtaceae, Sapotaceae. Red clay soil.
Morphology:
Tree 20 m tall, 15 cm dbh. Outer bark light brown, flaking.
Inner bark light orange. Wood yellow. Leaves glaucous
beneath. Flower buds fasciculate, pale yellowish-green.
