WHITE MOUNTAINS: Crooked Creek, North Fork headwaters on slope above first bend in
Crooked Creek road just east of White Mountain Road, Deep Springs Valley watershed.
Isolated scattered robust individuals within local L. tegeticulatus population. Silty mixed
colluvium sloping 15° SW, with Artemisia tridentata vaseyana, Lupinus tegeticulatus
tegeticulatus, Lupinus lepidus utahensis, Trifolium andersonii beatleyae, Stenotus acaulis,
Castilleja nana, Astragalus calycosus calycosus, Eremogone kingii glabrescens, etc. Somewhat
loose leafy mats to 5 dm across, flowers purple with violet to whitish banners.
