WHITE MOUNTAINS: 1.23 road mile SW of Deep Springs turnoff along CA highway 168,
then 0.15 mile NW on track to Crystal Peak, just SW of track, 0.6 mile S58°E of Crystal Peak,
1.7 mile S70°W of Deep Springs College, Deep Springs Valley watershed. Locally common.
Deep loose granitic sand sloping 0-2° S, with Atriplex canescens, Psorothamnus polydenius,
Tiquilia nuttallii, Malacothrix glabrata, Chaenactis stevioides, Bailey a pleniradiata, Abronia
turbinata, Oenothera californica avita, Aliciella, etc.
ELEVATION 5150 ft (1570 m). 37.36531°N 118.00942°W (±15m), WGS1984 datum.
