Field Char: Tree 12 m tall, dbh 15 cm. Bark gray,
slash pale brown, fruits dark maroon-red.
Locality: Luzon: Aurora Prov.,Baler Municip.,
Bgy. Cemento, foot of forested hills
overlooking the sea, on gravel road c. 8 km
from Baler.
Habitat: Remnants of forest near river, edge of
cultivated land with manioc,
pineapple, papaya, etc.
