  • Description

    Climbing. stem round, inclined to twine, greenish, roughened with light brown lenticells, very flexible; the branches slender and far reaching; leaves scattered, upon ascendingly, curved petioles, mostly descending, tips reserved, otherwise nearly flat coriaceous, dark green above, paler beneath; infrutescence pendulous, arising from the branches, 1 1/2 foot long, evenly covered with fruits except the basal 1/3 portion; rachis and pedicels dark green; receptacle of a subglobose, or short ellipsoid, dark green, yellow and ultimately red ones in the same cluster; stones muricate; "Casopo.
