along highway ca. 4 mi. N of Al-Qaidah, ca. 30 km S of Ibb,
ca. at the break between the mountains and the flats;
gullied, steep hills, elev. est. 1700 m, edges of sorghum
terraces, with Acacia and arborescent Euphorbia.
Plants sprawling, to 1.5 m across; perianth pale red-
violet .
