rough; slash straw with strong onion odor; sapwood pale yellow-brown; twigs
terete, grayish-brown; apical bud elongate and slender; leaves spiral, fleshy to
subcoriaceous, adaxial surface dull green, abaxially yellow-green; ail leaf axes
green; petiole weakly swollen at base; inflorescence immature, flower buds
oblongoid, white or very pale yellow-green; staminal tube cylindrical, hirteilous
on outer surface; style entirely white, stigma capitate.
