    Twining suffrutescent or woody below climbing and forming dense mosses on top of shrubby jungles; leaves soft velvety green, half glaucous green beneath, the edges curved usually downwards a trifle; flowers yellowish; berries slightly compressed, dark red and juicy when mature; inflorescence pendulous; "Pisok", the leaves are roasted or stemed and placed upon swellings and bruises said to be a sure cure.
