Akebia trifoliata (Thunberg) Koidzuni
Shennongjia Forest District (31°3(KN; 110°30/E):
W of Hongriwan construction camp along
trail leading towards Huanghunling Mt.
Elevation ca. 1300 meters. Streamside
and slightly up slope on floor of
ravine. High cliirbing vine; fruits
purplish-pink, dehiscent, leathery,
slimey inside.
