1980 Sino-American Botanical Expedition to Western Hubei Province People’s Republic of China Akebia trifoliata (Thunberg) Koidzumi Shennongjia Forest District (31°3(KN; 110°30'E): vicinity of Qiujiaping in side canyons on the E side of the Mengjia River. Elevation 1500-1900 meters. W-facing slopes. Disturbed valley with secondary growth. Forest edge. Woody vine. Mature fruits purplish- red, pulp white; seed black. 1980 Sino-Amer. Exped.
