Phy togeogr. value: A species of connection of the
East-Mediterranean and Irano-Turanian regions.
A component of the Mediter. Batha (e. g. Poterietum spinosi)
and Poa ¿«/fosa-association. In this last association we also
found it in the Irano-Turanian territories of Palestine. It seems to
be strictly limited to the mountain ranges of Palestine. A. E i g.
